What is Micro-needling? Micro-needling, also known as Micro-needling collagen induction therapy is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment. It promotes your body’s natural collagen production and cellular turnover through your body’s wound healing process. During treatments, an FDA approved handheld device is rolled over the treatment site in a smooth circular motion. The pen features several tiny needles that puncture your skin rapidly. However, you will need to try your best to avoid sun damage for the first 3 days after treatment. A little hyaluronic acid will go a long way to ensure no inflammation occurs after treatment.
